This project will provide funds to support the creation of a new part-time position supporting Healthy Communities Wyandotte. The part-time communications strategist will create and begin implementing a strategic communications plan to coordinate HCW’s efforts to improve the county’s poor health rankings. The Communications Strategist will oversee this process, guiding HCW’s Communications Action Team to create a plan that will provide direction for HCW communications.
Support organizing and outreach to Johnson County, KS, residents on KanCare expansion.
Support to provide medical case management for migrant and year round farmworker families who work in the orchards in Lafayette County.
Provide legal review of organizational assets and assist with negotiations for agency partnership agreement.
Support engagement activities to increase voter registration of Latino residents of Wyandotte County, KS.
