This project will provide funds to support the creation of a new part-time position supporting Healthy Communities Wyandotte. The part-time communications strategist will create and begin implementing a strategic communications plan to coordinate HCW’s efforts to improve the county’s poor health rankings. The Communications Strategist will oversee this process, guiding HCW’s Communications Action Team to create a plan that will provide direction for HCW communications.
Support planning activities for development of a Kansas City metro area Center for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
Employee matching gifts.
Support the establishment of a KC Metro Census Equity Fund to provide census outreach and engagement grants.
