The REACH Healthcare Foundation Board of Directors elected six community members with diverse professional experience and community backgrounds to the board at the March 26 meeting. Three individuals were incumbents elected for a second term.
The following individuals will begin their board terms on June 1, 2020:
- Guy Collier, Senior Counsel of Health Law for McDermott, Will & Emery, LLP, gaining most of his career experience in health policy and law. Collier is a resident of Johnson County, KS.
- Fabian Gayosso, Director of Community Affairs for ReeceNichols Real Estate, managing the company’s efforts to address homeownership within the Hispanic community. Gayosso is a resident of Jackson County, MO.
- Tom Handley, retired with more than 40 years of senior actuarial and management experience in group insurance and healthcare, including rate development, actuarial evaluation, benefit design and pricing, and underwriting. Handley is an incumbent member elected for a second term. He is a resident of Johnson County, KS.
- Kevin Klamm, current member of the REACH Community Advisory Committee and Vice President of Commercial Lending for Union Bank and Trust. Klamm resides in Johnson County, KS.
- Joe Reuben, Medical Staff President of AdventHealth-Shawnee Mission, where he has served as Emergency Department Medical Director and Chair, overseeing operations of the emergency department. Reuben is an incumbent member elected for a second term. He is a resident of Johnson County, KS.
- Jim Sanders, retired Chief of Staff of the Kansas City VA Medical Center, spent his career in public service in urban and rural health settings. Sanders is an incumbent member elected for a second term. He is a resident of Johnson County, KS.
The REACH Board annually elects members from the foundation’s six-county service area to serve on the Board of Directors. Board terms are three years, and members are eligible to serve up to two terms. Find more information about the REACH Board of Directors.
