The REACH Healthcare Foundation is among 11 nonprofit and community organizations that have formed the KC Census Funders Partnership, a collective of organizations interested in partnering to promote a complete and accurate count in the 2020 Census. The group convened nonprofit and business organizations, elected officials and social justice advocates and other community leaders in fall 2018 for early discussions on the impact of the 2020 Census on the Kansas City region.

The KC Census Funders Partnership has gathered resources that organizations can use to educate their constituents about the census. REACH and the Health Forward Foundation have awarded grants to support regional planning, resources and communications activities through the Mid-America Regional Council. Other funded projects will develop in 2019.
