This project will provide funds to support the creation of a new part-time position supporting Healthy Communities Wyandotte. The part-time communications strategist will create and begin implementing a strategic communications plan to coordinate HCW’s efforts to improve the county’s poor health rankings. The Communications Strategist will oversee this process, guiding HCW’s Communications Action Team to create a plan that will provide direction for HCW communications.
Support transition of the Greater Kansas City Cultural Competency Collective from Support KC to Alive and Well Kansas City.
Support to conduct digital engagement, trainings, in-person organizing, and a voter protection program to raise awareness of core civil rights and liberties issues and build long-term power among a diverse cross-section of Kansans.
Support organizing and outreach to Johnson County, KS, residents on KanCare expansion.
