Jackie Loya-Torres is the Manager for CRA and Community Development with Commerce Bank, where she focuses on compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act. In her role at Commerce, Jackie is responsible for the bank’s outreach efforts and for many community development /community relations initiatives, especially in low- to moderate-income and underrepresented areas of the bank’s footprint. Prior to joining Commerce, Loya-Torres worked in the non-profit sector as a program officer with a local charitable foundation, where she oversaw grant allocations to area agencies working on economic security issues for women and girls in need.
She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Build WyCo and on the Executive Committee of the Kansas City Money Matters Alliance. Previously, she served on the Community Development Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, on the Board of Directors of Harvesters Community Food Network, on the Board of Trustees at Cristo Rey High School Kansas City, and on the Marketing Committee of Resurrection Catholic School in Kansas City, Kansas. She was a 2018 Fellow of the St. Louis Business Diversity Initiative, a program of the St. Louis Regional Chamber of Commerce, and is a graduate of Rockhurst University.
She has been married to Patrick Torres for thirty-three years and is the proud mom of Mari, Sofía, and Gabi Torres.
