No. This funding is designed to alleviate traditional grant requirements.

Our goal is to review applications and respond as soon as possible, usually within a few weeks. We are striving to alleviate long turn-around times in grant processing.

No, grants of this size do not require a formal agreement/contract.

Applicants will not be required to submit any documentation. REACH and Wyandotte Health Foundation staff will verify 501(c)(3) status and review available Form 990 tax returns online.

Generally, tax-exempt organizations must file an annual information return (Form 990 or Form 990-EZ). Most small tax-exempt organizations whose annual gross receipts are normally $50,000 or less can satisfy their annual reporting requirement by electronically submitting Form 990-N if they choose not to file Form 990 or Form 990-EZ. Churches, some church-affiliated organizations, governmental organizations and certain other types of organizations are exempted from filing. Therefore, if your organization is required to file an annual information return and has not done so, it may not be eligible for funding.
