To mark the global celebration of Giving Tuesday, the REACH Foundation announced holiday awards of $5,000 to six nonprofit organizations in the foundation’s service area.
Every year, REACH joins in the Giving Tuesday movement that encourages people to practice generosity. One way we do that is by making financial gifts to nonprofits in each of our counties that are outside of the foundation’s grantmaking portfolio to support their efforts to provide aid, comfort and extra care during the holidays.
The following organizations received $5,000 gifts:
- Allen County Community College Endowment Association (Red Devil Food Pantry), Allen County, KS
- Bethel Neighborhood Center, Wyandotte County, KS
- Eagles Community Outreach, Cass County, MO
- Global One Urban Farming, Jackson County, MO
- The Hope Market Foundation, Johnson County, KS
- Wellington Community Christian Center, Lafayette County
We appreciate these organizations and the dozens of others that practice generosity throughout the year!
