Across our region, community-based organizations are trusted partners in helping families access care, navigate systems, and connect to the resources they need. This year, 16 organizations serving communities that face systemic barriers to health and well-being have been awarded Core Operating Partner grants, receiving multi-year, flexible support to strengthen their work and sustain essential services.
This year’s grant awards continue REACH’s longstanding commitment to strengthening the region’s health outcomes amongst vulnerable populations. Core operating grants are designed to meet organizations where they are, by providing unrestricted, multi-year support. These grants help partners plan for the long-term, invest in their teams and infrastructure, and respond quickly to shifting changes in communities’ needs.
“At its core, this grant reflects our commitment of standing alongside our partners and applying principles of trust-based philanthropy,” said Carla Gibson, vice president of programs. “Flexible funding like the Core Operating grant acknowledges the real work that’s required to create and maintain meaningful impact and gives our partners the opportunity to invest in the resources they need to advance their vision for a healthier and more equitable community.”
The following organizations have been awarded $100,000 grants to use over the course of two years. Recipients of the grant includes organizations working in health navigation, behavioral health, immigrant and refugee supports, and rural and community health outreach. Together, these partners serve as trusted partners, helping residents navigate systems and build pathways to better health and well-being.
