Pattie Mansur

Director of Communications & Health Policy

Pattie Mansur is Director of Communications & Health Policy, responsible for local and state policy monitoring, media relations and the development of communications products and tools that describe the Foundation’s funding interests and community investments. Mansur joined the Foundation in June 2007. Her background includes marketing, communications and fund development for private foundations, nonprofit organizations and educational institutions.

Mansur previously was a communications officer at the Kauffman Foundation, providing communications guidance to the foundation’s program staff and grantees, and maintained an independent consulting practice working with health and social service organizations in the Kansas City metropolitan area. She has been a parent leader and advocate for public education in the Kansas City area, and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Kansas City School Board in an elected position.

Mansur has a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. A resident of Jackson County, Missouri, she and her husband have three children.
