Mathew Davis is Office & Communications Assistant at the foundation, responsible for developing, producing and editing content; managing the foundation’s social media, website and extranet, designing visual content to support communications; and, providing specialized support to the Director of Communications & Health Policy. Davis joined the foundation in 2013.
Davis currently serves on the community advisory board of the HIMM Project, a community-based initiative focused on HIV education, prevention, and treatment in the KC Metro among men who have sex with men (MSM).
Previously, Davis served as a member of genKC, the Greater Kansas City Chamber’s young professionals organization, designed to attract and retain young professionals in the area by providing networking, community involvement, and professional development opportunities. Davis also worked as legislative assistant to Jermaine Reed, former third district councilman of Kansas City, MO. Davis also held internships working on community health projects at the Black Health Care Coalition, Inc., and Children’s Mercy Hospital.
Davis earned both a Bachelor of Journalism in Strategic Communication and a Master of Journalism in Strategic Communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Davis resides in Kansas City, Missouri.
