Jerrihlyn McGee, D.N.P., R.N., C.N.E, is program director and clinical assistant professor of nursing education at KU School of Nursing, with more than 15 years of nursing experience. She has taught advanced courses in nursing leadership, and been active in diversity and inclusion efforts at KU Medical Center, including the Diversity & Inclusion Cabinet and KUMC’s Core Values committee that led to development of a core values statement and related work. McGee is active in promoting health careers and academies in the KCK Public Schools. She earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Leadership and a Master of Science in Nursing in organizational leadership. McGee is a resident of Wyandotte County, KS.
