Registration Open for "Using Your Team for Social Change"
Nonprofit organizations interested in strengthening their advocacy efforts can learn how to make small changes — using existing staff and no extra budget — to expand and amplify their advocacy efforts.
The Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City and the REACH Healthcare Foundation will sponsor a forum Thursday, May 15, 8:30 a.m.-11: 30 a.m., “Steps to Integrate Advocacy Into Your Organization: Using Your Team for Social Change.” The forum is part of an Advocacy Capacity Building series sponsored by the foundations.
This event will cover how making small shifts in operations — using existing staff and no extra budget — can amplify advocacy efforts. Topics will include:
- Constituent engagement
- Mobilizing volunteers
- Building advocacy into job descriptions
- Inviting donors to advocate
