Organizations that receive contributions from donors have certain reporting obligations to the IRS. Is your organization prepared for the requirements that come with these gifts? BKD will provide a free webinar, which will address an organization’s responsibility when it accepts donor contributions. Upon completion of the webinar, participants will be able to:
- Decide when an organization is responsible for sending donor acknowledgement;
- Explain the different reporting requirements to donors for charitable contributions;
- Decide what information needs to be included in a donor acknowledge.
The audience for the program is CFOs, foundation directors and nonprofit organization development directors.

INMED Announces 2012 Cross-Cultural Healthcare Symposium

The Institute for International Medicine is accepting registrations for its 2012 Cross-Cultural Healthcare Symposium on October 9. The conference will be held at the University of Kansas-Edwards Campus, 12604 Quivira Road, Overland Park, Kansas. The symposium seeks to equip and mobilize regional health care students, professionals and community leaders to bridge cultural barriers in providing health care services to culturally diverse populations in the Greater Kansas City area.
