Health Partnership Clinic Gains FQHC Designation

Health Partnership Clinic of Johnson County has been designated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as a federally qualified health center. In receiving the designation, the clinic will receive annual federal funds of approximately $650,000. The clinic plans to use the additional money to expand its clinic facilities and provide services in Miami County, Kansas. The grant was part of $128.6 million awarded by Health and Human Services to 219 health centers across the country. Health Partnership Clinic is one of eight safety-net health centers participating in the REACH Foundation’s Medical Home Initiative.
