The REACH Foundation, the Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City and the Jackson County Community Mental Health Fund will provide individualized technical assistance for up to seven health, behavioral health and human services organizations to support knowledge- and capacity-building in the areas of cultural competency, diversity and inclusion. The technical assistance is part of a regional Cultural Competency Initiative started in 2009 to address health disparities and health equity in the Greater Kansas City area. The initiative focuses on strengthening organizational capacity to serve the region’s diverse populations.

Organizations interested in applying for technical assistance must be working within the funders’ interest areas and geographic service area. The award provides for technical assistance, and is not a financial award.
