Foundation Releases Grantee/Applicant Survey Results

For the past three years, the REACH Foundation has implemented an annual applicant and grantee survey to seek guidance from our stakeholders on ways to improve our grant making processes, assess our relationships and behaviors, sharpen and tailor our communications strategies, and evaluate our impact in the communities we serve.
The 2014 Applicant and Grantee Perceptions Survey represents responses from nonprofit organization staff in our six-county service area. The survey was emailed to all organizations that submitted a Program Grant Letter of Intent or that applied for a Core Operating Grant. It represents responses from organizations that were successful in receiving a grant from REACH, and those that were not.
Results from the survey indicate that REACH continues to perform well in customer service, communications with grantees, creating effective relationships with our grantees and communities, and impacting health care policy, direct services, and organizational capacity building. Respondents also reported that they view REACH staff as knowledgeable about their fields and deeply engaged in helping their organizations achieve their goals.
