REACH Foundation Pleased to Support Head Start-Trauma Smart Program’s National Program Award

The REACH Foundation congratulates Crittenton Children’s Center on their award of a three-year, $500,000 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Local Funding Partnerships grant to strengthen and expand its Head Start-Trauma Smart program. The RWJF grant and local matching funds will support continuation of the program in high-need areas in Wyandotte County, Kansas, and introduce the program in two sites in Kansas City, Missouri. The REACH Foundation contributed $250,000 in matching funds to support Crittenton’s application for the RWJF funding. REACH supported the pilot program in 2008 as a promising approach to addressing a critical mental health need.
