CEO Brenda Sharpe Addresses Role of Philanthropy in Push for Dental Access
Message from the CEO
This week, REACH Foundation President and CEO Brenda Sharpe was invited to share her thoughts on the foundation’s efforts to address oral health access in Kansas by advocating for expansion of the dental workforce team by adding a new advanced practitioner called a dental therapist.
The REACH Foundation has supported the education, outreach and advocacy efforts of the Kansas Dental Project, a statewide coalition of oral health and health, education and human service professionals who have been working for six years to increase awareness and spur action to find solutions to Kansas’ dental workforce shortage.
